Description
The division’s current Board Advocacy Priorities 2024 were developed through conversations and a survey shared with staff, students, and parents. These priorities reflect what the community identified as most important:
- Student Outcomes
- Public Education Funding
- Staff Supports
The advocacy priorities are not meant to cover everything the Board focuses on. Instead, they highlight the key issues the Board focuses on when meeting with elected officials, the Alberta Education and Childcare ministry, and local representatives.
Online Survey – open March 16 – 31
This survey will help ensure the advocacy priorities continue to reflect what matters most to the community. The feedback gathered will guide the Board of Trustees in their ongoing advocacy work on behalf of the division.

In-Person Engagement Session – World Café format on March 30
Doors open at 5:30 PM, and facilitated activities will begin at 6:00 PM
