Stepping Stones Day Care Society has been operating in the City of Grande Prairie since September 1975. The Society provides services and programs which are available to all members of the community:

Stepping Stones Day Care - South - Accredited Child Care Service

A licensed day care for 56 preschool children, ages 12 months to six years.

Stepping Stones Day Care - West – Accredited Child Care Service

A licensed day care for 46 preschool children, ages 18 months to six years.

Family Child Care Program – Accredited Child Care Service

25 Day Home Providers caring for 100 children.

Inclusive Child Care Program

The program works together with early childhood educators and the parents of young children with developmental delays, to support children`s inclusion and development.

Child Care Respite Care and Nutrition Program

This program is to support the implementation of the Alberta Response Model by providing child care placements for families at risk that are in need of support in their childrearing role and it extends to families of children with disabilities.
