About

The Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC) is a national Indigenous organization dedicated to advancing the social, economic, cultural, and political well-being of Indigenous women, girls, Two-Spirit, transgender, and gender-diverse people across Canada.

Through advocacy, research, education, and community-driven programs, NWAC works to amplify Indigenous voices, influence policy, and create meaningful opportunities for empowerment and equality. With a focus on leadership, safety, and self-determination, NWAC continues to build bridges between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, fostering understanding and progress for generations to come.
