We do live theatre, indie concerts, provide live theatre classes for youth 7-17 through our GPLT Rising Star Summer Drama Camps [@gpltrisingstars] and have 2 friendly theatres (161 seat and 304 seat) available for community use.

Over the last 57 years Grande Prairie Live Theatre has produced over 331 shows. Ranging from musicals, dramas, concerts, and festivals, GPLT has become known as the premiere producer of live events in Grande Prairie. The GPLT relies heavily on its nearly 300 volunteers to produce community theatre of the highest quality. 2017 recipient of the Alberta Chamber of Commerce Provincial Award of Distinction in the Arts and Culture Category. 2016 recipient of the First Award of Distinction for Arts and Culture given by the Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce.
