Gels Aesthetics & Wellness Spa was founded and owned by Gel Longakit. Gel is a former teacher back in the Philippines before she worked in the Middle East and has years of experience in a beauty salon.

Year 2010 she landed in Canada and fast forward to that, she acquired her two diplomas as an esthetician and advanced makeup artist at The Esthetics Institute Training Center in Calgary, one of the best training centers in Alberta.

In the same year, she opened her Gel’s Beauty Hub to the public.

Year 2022 Gel acquired her certificate as an advanced clinical Aesthetician. She trained to use various machines including laser and IPL (Intense Pulse Light) to treat different skin conditions at Medical Aesthetics School in Edmonton.

In addition to her achievements, she got her certificate to be one of the CEDISCO (Comite’International d’Esthetique et de Cosmetologie) accredited educator that represents and promotes the highest professional standards of beauty therapy in the world.

Because of her passion and desire to help and render services in beauty, she came up with adding more services that deal with someone's wellness like spa and massage.

The former Gels Beauty Hub is now known as Gels Aesthetics & Wellness Spa.
