About

Francophonie Canadienne Plurielle (FRAP) is a non‑profit, non‑partisan organization dedicated to helping French‑speaking newcomers and immigrants across Alberta and the Prairies integrate socially, economically, and culturally. Since its founding in 2014, FRAP has provided welcoming, practical support ranging from housing search, administrative and immigration assistance, translation and interpretation services, to guidance through school registration, childcare, tax filing, and community integration. FRAP also coordinates settlement and school‑integration programs in the Prairies and the Northwest Territories — offering tailored help to families and individuals as they adapt to life in a new community. With offices in multiple Alberta regions (including a location in Grande Prairie), FRAP strives to build an inclusive, intercultural francophone community where newcomers feel supported, connected, and at home.
