About

Carmen Moore is currently working as an advocate for people with autism/neurodiversity through CMooreinEducation.  Through this organization, she is looking to engage and support those needing both formal and informal support though family engagement, school/agency professional development, math testing for students and public speaking.  She is a former classroom teacher, principal, inclusive education coach and has over twenty five years of teaching/consulting experience.  Carmen received her Master of Education as well as completed a graduate certificate in autism spectrum disorder (GC/ASD) through the University of Kansas.  She has authored many articles and is a public speaker about a wide variety of topics.  Carmen is excited to share strategies proven to support learners.  Her involvement in ‘Project Independence’ has been a highlight focused on growing the skillset of those who work to support others in their journey to further independence and self-advocacy.

My goal is to provide support for students, teachers, school divisions, conferences and families that may be looking for input on how to best support any student, particularly those with any inclusive needs.  

Now available for private consultations for families needing direction and support as well (especially in the area of autism).   Do you need help in advocating for your child at home and school?  I am available for in home and online supports as needed.

I am an active public speaker on a wide variety of topics and am available for your next function.
