The BDC Small Business Week Grande Prairie Chamber Awards of Distinction recognize the successes and accomplishments of our business community. The evening will include a networking reception, guest speaker and awards presentation.

Our guest speaker is Dave Doyle, Business Success Coach, specializing in business development, positivity, soft skills, self awareness, and entrepreneurship. 

"You know how you go through phases in the work environment where things are great for awhile, then turn sour usually due to one or two bad apples spoiling the bunch? Sometimes you catch it early and other times those apples really do cause chaos and negativity within the Team. A Negative Culture is the worst thing that can happen in your business. You know how sometimes we wonder if we can be just a little happier? Or if there is more to this life than just getting through the day or just getting by? I solve this.

I've run Teams in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) space for 20 years and Sales Teams for over 10 years with turnover rates as low as you've ever seen. My experience combined with extensive industry training and personal development certification has led me to be able to help Executive Teams plan and build better Culture in their companies, saving money and allowing for more happiness in the workplace in the process. I've spent the last 10 years purposefully studying and practicing living with a PMA (Positive Mental Attitude). It has changed EVERYTHING! Its super simple in concept but it takes some practice. I've coached individuals and corporations, done workshops and keynotes and delivered a TEDx Talk on the subject. I'm developing a course which can help anyone add a little bit of extra happiness to their everyday."
