The Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce invites you to this event hosted by the Swan City Rotary Club as part of BDC Small Business Week. The program will incorporate some of the protocol of a Rotary meeting with additional information provided by our Chamber.

Guest speaker: Kelly McTaggart, Community Engagement Advisor, Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers. Experienced Community & Indigenous Engagement Leader, Corporate Strategist, and Consultation Professional in the Energy Sector. Extensive field experience in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. Strong leader with skills developed through work and volunteering experiences in the private and public sectors. In-depth knowledge of the resource sector and its relationship with government, regulators, and communities.

Western Canadian Outreach with focus on business communities, government, and regulators. Public spokesperson for CAPP in Western Canada, including media interviews and presentations to 10-300 people. Manages large scale events for up to 500 people in various locations across Western Canada to build relationships with key stakeholders and progress Association’s mandate. Writes and produces documents for member executives on key issues (Energy markets and competitiveness), events, and federal policy initiatives.
