The Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce will host the first-ever State of the Region with City of Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton, County of Grande Prairie Reeve Leanne Beaupre and Municipal District of Greenview Reeve Dale Smith on Wednesday, July 14 from 10:00 to 11:15 AM. The interactive virtual event is open to the public at no cost. The State of the Region will reflect on the area’s response to the pandemic, explore the economic and social impacts on our urban and rural communities, and discuss our municipalities’ vision for the upcoming months while looking forward to the future. 

The event will commence with addresses delivered by each of the municipal leaders. Attendees will then have an opportunity to participate in a moderated question and answer period. Questions can be submitted in advance to the Chamber by emailing news@gpchamber.com. The Mayor and Reeves will also take questions from those participating in the Zoom call.
