Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce Business Awards of Distinction.

Please complete this form to SELF-NOMINATE your business. 

Tell us:

- the name of your business and contact information

- in what category (or categories) you feel you are deserving UP TO A LIMIT OF THREE. 

You will then be contacted to continue the awards process which includes creating a profile and providing supporting information for your nomination. NOTE: We use the Northwestern Alberta Foundation portal for our award submissions. Details will be provided to you upon receipt of your nomination.

Award applicants are not required to be a member of the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce.

To be a valid entry in the Grande Prairie Chamber Business Awards of Distinction, a business must: 

• Be operating in the Grande Prairie area and continue to do so at the time of the awards presentation; 
• Have been in operation in the Grande Prairie area for a minimum one fiscal year unless stated otherwise; 
• Not have previously won in the same category in the past three years; 
• Not have anyone in their management, on their board, or in their employ serving on the Grande Prairie Chamber Awards of Distinction selection committee for the category in which they’ve been nominated.

Nomination deadline is 4:30 PM on Friday, August 16, 2024. Every nominator will receive a confirmation of receipt. If you do not receive confirmation of your nomination, please contact the Chamber Office at 780-532-5340 or email info@gpchamber.com. 

A selection committee will evaluate all submissions in each award category. Recipients will be announced at the Grande Prairie Chamber Awards of Distinction, to be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 as part of Small Business Week presented by the County of Grande Prairie.
