The YMCA of Northern Alberta-Grande Prairie is proud to opperate 12 fully licenced and accredited childcare facilities & 15 Child Care Programs in the Grande Prairie area, they are located in: Kateri, Patterson, Holy Cross, Mother Teresa, St. Gerard, Avondale, St. Catherine, Montrose, Riverstone, Roy Bickell, St. John Paull II, and Clairmont. Since October 2013 we have been operating a free after school program at Hillside School & Swanavon called the ASLA, thanks to Community Funding Partners like: United Way, Pembina Pipeline, KMSC Law, Rotary Clubs of GP, Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta, Revolution Auto Group & Shell. The Grande Prairie YMCA also operates 3 Community Programs, 1 of which is in direct support of ending homelessness in GP: Centralized Assessment. We also offer a Pre-Employment Program for 15-30yr olds called Bridging The Gap along side our Family Ties Program. The YMCA of Northern Alberta-Grande Prairie Region is proud to have been serving this community for the past 12 years & our goal is to eventually see a Health, Fitness & Aquatic complex or Community Centre. We strive on providing excellence in service delivery & hope that this is reflected in all we do.
