The Grande Prairie Family Education Society (GPFES) is a trusted non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families across Grande Prairie and the surrounding region. Through free, community-based programs and collaborative partnerships, GPFES fosters connection, resilience, and confidence at every stage of family life — from early childhood and parenting support to youth development and life-skills programming.
At GPFES, families receive compassionate, practical assistance tailored to their needs. Services include voluntary home support for expectant parents and young families, educational workshops and parent-child programs, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) support, social-skills and peer-group activities for children and youth, literacy and life-skills development for adults, and guidance through separation or family transitions — all delivered with respect, inclusivity, and proven best practices.
