Is a professional DJ company based out of Grande Prairie, AB. 

FLIP Entertainment is locally owned and operated by founder Franklin Matias. Born and raised in Grande Prairie, Franklin has built a unique sound company based on his intimate knowledge of the area, coupled with his passion to provide the best service in Grande Prairie and Western Canada.  An integral part of FLIP Entertainment’s success is also due to partner Aldon Simpkin. 

Aldon joined the company in 2011 as a promoter and has steadily worked his way up to Booking Manager and Partner. Together they have tackled Grande Prairie’s sound scene with their high priority on customer care, and an array of easy to access services.  FLIP Entertainment features not only one of the top-rated DJ services in the area, but offers a full range of rental capability - from a single mic for a grand opening, to event lighting, and everything in between. 

Formed 13 years ago, FLIP Entertainment has not only hosted some of the top acts in the country, but has performed at premier events such as: 2019 Canadian Fastball Championship, 2018 Alberta Summer Games, the 2015 Special Olympics, the Stompede, Art Battle, STARS Hanger Dance, and hosting annual 3 on 3 FLIP IT UP Tournament. We have provided AV and sound support to numerous other private, charitable and corporate events. FLIP Entertainment prides itself on their high standard for events and a customer focused approach.
