Calabria Deli & Bistro
My name is Antonio Magnone but go by the name Tony. My parents came over from Italy in 1970 and started a new life for themselves. I was born and raised here and have lived in Grande Prairie for almost my whole life to only get away and come back for a few years to go to college. I studied and graduated from N.A.I.T in 2005 to become a red seal chef and always had the dream of opening up my own restaurant.
When I returned from college I met my future wife, Nicole (Nikki) who is also born and raised in GP. Nikki studied with the UofA collaborative program to become a registered nurse and is currently working at the QEII. In 2011 we got hitched and now have 3 beautiful children. Once life settled down a bit we worked together at building a catering company formerly known as Tonik Catering. In October of 2019 opportunity struck for our next big step in life is opening up Calabria Deli and Bistro."
Tony always wanted to bring the culture and flavors of his Italian roots to your plate. When we opened in November of 2019 the dream came true! Calabria Deli brings you authentic sandwiches and specials using family recipes. Expanding to imported meats, cheeses, and groceries from Italy and Europe to allow your inner chef to create delicious creations at home.
