Bartons Big Country proudly serves the Canadian hunting and sport shooting communities. Originally founded by Jack Barton in 1999 as a fishing and archery outfitter, Bartons Big Country has continued to grow into a premier supplier of only the best shooting and hunting equipment and supplies in Northern Alberta.

Bartons believes in fostering growth through community investment and has always been active in local charity fundraising. As well as our regular charity events, we also sponsor multiple sporting events including Sporting Clay competitions, the Mighty Peace 3 Gun League, and local archery clubs.

In March 2016, Mike Davison and Steve Allison recognized the potential for growth into larger markets and acquired the business. Our main focus will continue to be with the hunting and shooting communities and we have made it our mission to provide the very best experience for our many loyal customers.
