Please complete this form to SELF-nominate your business and submit it to the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce. Tell us the name of your business, and in what category you feel you are deserving. You will then be contacted to continue the awards process which includes creating a profile and providing supporting information for your nomination. 

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

To be a valid entry in the Grande Prairie Chamber Business Awards of Distinction, a business must: 

• Be operating in the Grande Prairie area and continue to do so at the time of the awards presentation; 
• Have been in operation in the Grande Prairie area for a minimum one fiscal year unless stated otherwise 
• Not have previously won in the same category in the past three years; 
• Not have anyone in their management, on their board, or in their employ serving on the Grande Prairie Chamber Awards of Distinction selection committee for the category in which they’ve been nominated.

Award applicants are not required to be a member of the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce.

Nominations must be received by the Chamber of Commerce by 4:30 PM on Friday, August 18, 2023. Every nominator will receive a confirmation of receipt. If you do not receive confirmation of your nomination, please contact the Chamber Office at 780-532-5340. 

A selection committee will evaluate all submissions in each award category. Recipients will be announced at the Grande Prairie Chamber Awards of Distinction, to be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 as part of BDC Small Business Week.
