The Government of Alberta's international offices play a crucial role in advancing a wide range of governmental objectives and priorities. They offer support to various Alberta businesses and organizations in areas such as promoting trade, advocating for Alberta's interests, attracting talent, and facilitating investment in the province.

The Alberta China Offices are dedicated to providing the following key supports:

  • Promoting the export of Alberta's products and services to China, building connections between Alberta companies and Chinese buyers.
  • Attracting investment into Alberta, introducing Alberta companies and projects to potential investors.
  • Organizing and supporting both outgoing missions to China and incoming delegations to Alberta.
  • Facilitating participation in major trade events, conferences, and tradeshows to highlight Alberta’s exceptional offerings in China.
  • Supporting economic growth, job creation and diversification by attracting talent to support Alberta’s economic growth.
  • Offering additional assistance, including market intelligence, due diligence, and introductions to potential business leads
