Please join the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce and TD Canada Trust for this informative breakfast event highlighting Economic Outlook with guest speaker Jacques Marcil, Senior Economist.
Jacques Marcil holds a Master’s degree in economics from Université du Québec à Montréal. Prior to joining TD in 2011, Jacques worked for 19 years in the public sector, first at Statistics Canada in Ottawa, where he specialized in national accounts and survey operations, and then at the Ontario Ministry of Finance in Toronto, where he focused on current economic analysis and database management. He then spent three years in Calgary at the Canada West Foundation, a non-profit think tank, where he authored op-eds and reports about western Canada’s economy and energy sector.
Jacques’s work at TD Economics includes monitoring economic, financial and public policy issues, as well as providing comment and presentations in both English and French.
