2012 Spring Quick Connect

Event Description
Chamber Quick Connect is designed to give Chamber Members an opportunity to meet their fellow-members in a more structured setting than our regular monthly mixers. The event begins with lunch from 11:45am to 12:10pm, after which members will be divided into two groups. Formatted similarly to 'Speed Dating' each group will sit on one side of a long row of tables, with each member facing a member in the other group. Once everyone is seated, a bell will ring indicating the start of 'Quick Connect', where the pair will have three minutes to talk about who they are, what they do, and anything else they can squeeze into three minutes (including the exchange of business cards). After three minutes the bell will ring again, prompting attendees on one side of the table to shift over one seat for their next encounter. Each member will have a chance to meet ten members during the event, leaving the remainder of the noon-hour available to continue discussions or strike up new conversations with those they didn't have a chance to meet.
